What is UCSF Health?

UCSF Health is our clinical system brand. It represents all the hospitals, clinics, care teams, and services directly related to patient care.

Use the UCSF Health brand for all materials and communications related to patient care, clinical services, and hospital operations as well as any environmental graphics in clinical care settings. It sends a clear signal to patients, families, and referring providers that the message is about delivering or receiving care.

UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospitals is the pediatric sub-brand of UCSF Health. Use this brand when communicating about pediatric care at our hospitals in Oakland and San Francisco, and at specialty clinics across the region.

For short-term or immediate needs (e.g., event promotion), continue using the current UCSF Health logo and brand guidelines.
For long-term needs (e.g., materials launching in February 2026 or to be used for more than 6 months) or larger investments (e.g., signage) — or if you’re unsure which brand to use — please contact [email protected] for guidance.
